With big brown eyes,
Quickly stole my heart.
A King Charles SpanielCaught my eye.
It won me from the start.
A kind and gentle spirit,
Content when by my side-
A friend to tell my troubles to,
In which I can confide.
So active and vivacious,
With loyal and loving ways-
My dog, my friend, my Spaniel-
Puts the sunshine in my days.
